Andrius Kaniava: The flight of a warmed fly over a hornet's nest

The buzzing of a warmed-up fly is, my dears, a sign that spring has come. This is also evidenced by spring undergrowth, flooded streams, swollen and fragrant poplars, and especially – the first, warmed-up fly! This is “the day when winter ends”!

These are songs that emerged from youthful impatience, and over the years, from old age discontent: "Fregatas", "Daina apie vienie nasmė", "Internautas", "Draugas", "Pelėda". And, without a doubt, the anthem of my life - "Musė".

Maybe some will find them cheeky, maybe ironic. Maybe even provocative! But in addition to all this, each of them has – maybe not very deeply, so to speak, in the middle – a hidden, non-trivial and very bright lyricism.
